I’ve always enjoyed drawing. I have fond memories of my grandfather teaching me to paint in his garage. Laying on the floor coloring with my mom and noticing how she used other colors for clouds, and of course Bob Ross was a go-to show as a kid! It wasn’t until a high school art class project that I discovered I loved drawing portraits.
Fast-forward getting a marketing degree, marriage and three boys later we moved to Fairhope, Alabama. It was a perfect place to get linked up with a group of encourging street artists. After the family had gone to bed, I stayed up watching instructional portrait DVD’s and trying to learn all I could.
The art space has gone from the kitchen table, to the garage, living room corner to a cozy art room in the house. God has been so good in providing commissions and a spot to work!
My hope is to use this to bless people. I’d love the chance to work with you!
Do everything for the glory of God.
